Frequently asked questions
Which error correction level should I choose?
L (~7% recovery) for clean digital displays. M (~15%, default) for general use. Q (~25%) or H (~30%) when adding logos or printing on rough surfaces — they keep the QR scannable even when partially obscured.
Are these QR codes free to use commercially?
Yes. QR is an open standard — generated codes have no licensing restrictions. Use them in any commercial project.
Why does my WiFi QR include the password in plain text?
The QR encodes the credentials in a standard format (WIFI:T:WPA;S:Name;P:pass;H:false;;) that supported devices read directly. Anyone scanning the QR will get the password — only share it with people you trust.
